Mermaid diagrams in chat
See how your enemy decides when to patrol, chase, or attack. Ask Ziva for a diagram instead of a long explanation. Ziva uses Mermaid, a way to draw diagrams from text, directly in chat.
Ask for a diagram
- Describe what you want to understand, for example: “Show my enemy’s patrol, chase, and attack logic as a diagram.”
- Name the kind of diagram you want, or let Ziva choose.
- Wait for the reply to finish. Until then, you see the diagram’s text instead of the drawing.
There is no Mermaid tool to enable or call.
Read and copy the source
Use Show code at the top right of a diagram to see its Mermaid text, and Show diagram to switch back. Copy code copies the complete source, not an image. Paste it into another message to ask Ziva for changes.
If a diagram cannot render, its source stays readable and can still be copied. That does not mean the rest of the reply failed.
Light and dark themes
Diagrams follow the chat’s light or dark theme.

Supported diagrams
- Flowcharts and state diagrams for decisions and game logic.
- Sequence diagrams and user journeys for steps and interactions.
- Mind maps, timelines, and Gantt charts for ideas and plans.
- Class, entity relationship, architecture, block, and requirement diagrams for technical designs.
- Pie, XY, quadrant, and Sankey charts for data.

Troubleshooting
The reply finished, but the diagram did not render. The source may have a syntax error. In the editor, select Fix diagram to put the error and source in your message box, then send it. On a shared-chat page, ask Ziva to fix the diagram in your own chat. Images, links, and click actions inside diagrams are not supported.
The diagram renderer could not load. Open the shared-chat link in a new browser tab, or restart the editor and reopen the saved chat.
The diagram is too large or hard to read. Scroll inside the diagram, or ask Ziva to split it into smaller diagrams.
