Introduction
Welcome to the official documentation for Ziva AI Agent, the AI-powered development agent that lives inside the Godot editor and helps you build games faster.
What is Ziva?
Ziva is built specifically for Godot. It works directly inside the editor and understands your whole project: scenes, nodes, scripts, resources, project settings, editor errors, and the running game.
Describe what you want in natural language and Ziva can create or change scenes, write GDScript or C#, search the Godot documentation, fix errors, run tests, and inspect the result without taking you out of the editor. Every turn can be undone if you want to roll back its changes.
Beyond code and scene editing, Ziva can playtest a game turn by turn, generate images, add hosted multiplayer, install game analytics with a live dashboard, and share a playable web build of your game on play.ziva.sh.
Start for Free
Every new account starts on Hobby, which supports your own Claude Code/Codex subscription and local models for free. Basic includes hosted models and images. Sign in to see your current Hobby allowances and available offers. When offered, eligible accounts can start a 7-day Basic monthly trial with a card, followed by $20/month unless canceled before the trial ends.
Your Code Stays Private
- Check each model’s privacy policy - Retention and training guarantees vary by model and provider. Review the privacy badge before sending sensitive code.
- Sent directly to trusted LLMs - Code is processed solely by secure LLM providers.
- 100% your IP - All generated code and assets belong entirely to you.
Getting Started
Ready to build faster? Download Ziva and install it in minutes.
Learn with a working project
Try the TileMapLayer example to inspect a configured TileSet, shared layers, and paint/erase code. The download needs no account or Ziva installation.

Models and Integrations
Pick from Ziva-hosted models, run a local model through Ollama or LM Studio, or use an AI subscription you already have:
- Use existing subscriptions: connect Claude Code, ChatGPT Codex, or OpenRouter
- Ling 3.1 Flash (Free): text-based coding and tool use with promotional free pricing. https://ziva.sh/docs/ling-3-1-flash-free
- Local providers: run Ollama or LM Studio models on your computer
- MCP servers: give Ziva tools from other apps and services
- Ziva as an MCP server: use Ziva’s Godot tools from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, and other MCP clients
Customizing Ziva
Shape how the agent behaves in your project with these v3 features:
- Slash commands —
/-prefixed shortcuts and custom prompt templates - @-Mentions — attach files and folders as context
- Add code to chat - ask about selected lines from Godot’s script editor
- AGENTS.md — project-wide instructions that travel with every prompt
- Memories — notes Ziva saves about your project and carries into new chats
- Skills — auto-loaded capability packs
For Enterprise Teams
Organizations can bring Ziva a game-engine migration, custom workflow, or project that needs more engine expertise than the current team can spare. Ziva for Unity is in beta, while Unreal Engine and Isaac Sim begin with a scoped pilot. Security, data, deployment, support, and commercial requirements are reviewed before an engagement is agreed. Talk to our team about the project you need to deliver.
Ziva is also gathering interest in game publishing from developers with a playable build. Publishing is an exploratory program, not a generally available service.
