Copy chat as Markdown

Copy a whole chat as Markdown text you can paste into your notes, a bug report, a message to a teammate, or another AI tool.

Copy a chat

Open the chat you want to copy.
In the chat header, open ⋮ and choose Copy as Markdown.
Paste it wherever you need it.

To save a chat as a .md file instead, share the chat, open the link and click Download.

What’s included

Your messages and Ziva’s replies.
Every file Ziva created or edited, shown as code or as a diff.
One line for each other action, such as reading a file or running a scene, with an error if it failed.
Plans, the questions Ziva asked you and your answers.
The chat title, the date, your project name and the models used.

What’s left out

Ziva’s thinking.
What each action returned, such as file contents or search results.
Images and videos. Each one is replaced by a numbered note like [Image 1].
Ziva’s internal todo lists and subagent steps.

Plan requirements

Copy as Markdown is available on every plan and with every model.

Privacy

The text goes only to your clipboard and is not uploaded anywhere. Ziva removes common secrets such as API keys, tokens and passwords before copying, but check the text before you share it.

Troubleshooting

Copy as Markdown is missing. Open a chat first. The option only shows when a chat is open.

Could not copy the chat. Click inside the Ziva panel so it has focus, then try again.
